AES
has partnered with
Excel Modular Scaffolding and CSA to design, fabricate and install
permanent lead shielding frames and work platforms. We develop the
designs utilizing either manual walkdown data or detailed walkdown data
obtained from Laser Scanning of the areas requiring shielding. We have
shielded numerous systems at Nine Mile, Calvert Cliffs, Sequoyah,
Salem, River Bend, and Cooper. The systems shielded include Reactor
Recirculation, Main Steam, Crossover Loops, Pressurizer Spray, Letdown
Piping, Safety Injection and RHR. Permanent work platforms have been
designed for Reactor nozzle inspections and MSIV work. The links below
