Services (Excel Scaffold)

AES has
partnered with
Excel Modular Scaffold to provide scaffolding
material to design, fabricate and install permanent structures for lead
shielding and permanent work platforms. Excel modular scaffolding
components are an ideal choice for these applications because their
patented design allows for very quick assembly, which is crucial when
working in high radiation areas. Furthermore, AES and Excel have worked
together to design special high strength adjustable scaffold components
to support the heavy lead blanket loads during seismic events, and
allow for the needed flexibility to work around existing interferences.

AES
has partnered with CSA to provide laser scanning services. Laser
scanning services are extremely cost effective for locations in high
dose rate areas since laser scanning not only reduces the time required
in the high dose areas, but also ensures that a complete dimensionally
accurate record of the entire area is obtained, including overhead
areas, which can not be easily reached using manual measuring methods.

AES has
partnered with Performance Contracting (PCI) to provide
SUREFLOW strainer modules to replace existing BWR ECCS Strainers and
PWR containment sump screens to resolve GSI 191 issues. The components
supplied include the SUREFLOW strainer modules, suction piping to
sumps, flow plenums and supporting components.

has formed a joint venture with TRC Engineering Services named Fleed
Engineering Services (FEC) to support nuclear clients on fleet wide
engineering service contracts. TRC Engineering Specializes in Energy
and Environmental areas and has extensive experience in Transmission
and Distribution systesms, switchyard and substation work.
